Guest Posts I Wrote That I Might Have Failed To Tell You About

November came and went and I am sitting here scratching my head, wondering what the heck happened! Yikes! Apparently time missed my memo to slow the heck down.

Anyhoo…

I have written several guest posts this month as well as had a couple of posts featured on Multicultural Familia. I have linked to them on Facebook as well as kept my Guest Posts I Have Written page updated but I wanted to highlight November’s post as I believe several of them might be of interest to you. So here we go…

Real Foods Diet – Fermented Foods featured at Give An Earthly. Curious about fermented foods? This post gives you a nice little introduction.

Natural Remedies When Illness Strikes featured at Untrained Hair Mom. I provide some simple home made remedies to use in place of chemical laden drugstore go-tos.

DIY Holiday Gifts: Homemade Personal Care Products Recipes featured at Multicultural Familia. The title of this post sums it up! These are some of my favorite recipes!

Why Does Skin Color Matter featured at Multicultural Familia. This is a little stream of consciousness post about using “skin color” or perceived ethnicity as a free flowing adjective in conversation about daily events and why I feel we need to move away from this bad habit.

Emotional Warmth is a post I wrote in my early days of blogging but I did a little updating to it and it is featured at The Mahogany Way. This post addresses children’s deep need for connection and warmth from their parents on a consistant basis.

The Importance of Doll Play featured at Child of the Nature Isle. In this post I discuss, well, the importance of playing with dolls as a child. Both boys and girls should be given the opportunity to play with age appropriate dolls.

And here are two posts I had featured on Modern Alternative Mama. I thought I would highlight them since the season of too many toys is upon us.

So that is what I have been up to. If I forgot a post, call me on it. I have done a poor job of keeping my little ducks in a row this month.

Happy Hump Day for all of you who celebrate it. ;)

Blessings,
Jennifer

P.S. After The Sweet Spot of Parenting posted yesterday, Tiny and I had one of our roughest days to date. It’s been a challenging four days in a row but today was icing on the cake. Irony at its best, right?

  1. Wow – you’ve been busy! I’m going to check out the ones I’ve missed.

  2. I’m so happy to have featured your amazing guest post Jennifer. Thanks so much once again! Oh I totally get the irony of writing about the good times then experiencing the flip-side. Ebbs and flows! I wish you were closer to me so we could pull up for a chat sometimes and maybe a kid swap on those days!!
